Ratings - Urgent and emergency services
Our view of the service
We carried out a focused assessment of urgent and emergency services on the 27 January and 3 February 2026 to assess the improvements the trust had made. We rated the service as requires improvement. We found the service had made improvements and there were no continuing breaches of regulation.
We found that improvements had been made in safe systems of care, in ensuring that medicines and treatments were mostly safe and met people’s needs, and in the protection of people’s sensitive information. However, not all improvements had yet been fully embedded in practice.
People's experience of this service
We did not speak to patients on the day of our visit. This was because we were following up on specific areas of concern we identified in 2024.
