During a themed inspection looking at Learning Disability Services
One patient told us that 'A copy of my care plan is on my door'.
All the patients that we talked with said that they understood what abuse was.
One of the patients said 'staff break up arguments here and talk to people about the cause of it.'
All of the patients that we talked with said they felt safe staying in this unit and got on well with the staff.
One person said they had 'seen abuse and using restraint in another place I was at, but not here.'
One patient said 'If people are hurting each other the staff help me keep my distance' and 'I would tell staff if I saw someone being hurt here'.
All of the comments made by the patients were positive and supported the service.
