We looked for evidence of accountability and good governance to manage and deliver safe treatment and care.

We found the service had made improvements and addressed the concerns we previously highlighted. We found the service had good governance in surgery. However, the ratings of other quality statements we rated in 2024, meant it remained as requires improvement overall and remained as requires improvement in urgent and emergency care.
