During a routine inspection

All people we spoke with were very happy with the standard of care they received. One person said 'Amazingly good care, the nurses are all saints and the matron is excellent, she looks after us like a mother hen with her chicks'. Another person who was visually impaired said 'Staff always explain what is happening and introduce themselves'. All relatives we spoke with also praised the care provided. Whilst people and relatives felt the individual rooms helped to maintain people's privacy and dignity, one visitor felt they were socially isolating and some people did not have much interaction with other people only the staff. One person said 'Why would I want to make a complaint, the staff here are all angels'.
