During an inspection looking at part of the service

People were happy with the care they received at The Dilke and compared it favourably to their experience at other hospitals. One family said, 'Overall brilliant'. The majority of people we spoke with felt well informed and said they had been kept up to date by staff. Relatives who were carers would have liked to be asked more about their relatives usual care needs. People enjoyed the food and were assisted to eat when help was needed. No concerns were expressed about the standards of care.

During a routine inspection

During this inspection we looked at the inpatient services provided for people at The Dilke hospital. People were complementary about the care and services they received and they felt cared for by staff but they identified some areas in which care can be improved.
