During a routine inspection

Generally the patients to whom we spoke were very satisfied with the care they received, this included those who were receiving care from the District Nurses. They praised the health staff both qualified and unqualified. The kitchen staff also were commended for their work. We spoke to the relative of one former patient who was very dissatisfied with the care at the hospital.

People liked the fact that the facility was local and fairly small. Patients said it was more homely than a large General District Hospital and it was more convenient, being local, for visitors.
