During an inspection looking at part of the service
We spoke with the registered manager, the provider and seven employees. Staff we spoke with told us North Hill Homecare was a good agency to work for. Comments included; 'Brilliant' and 'We get good team support'.
An expert by experience spoke on the telephone with 21 people who received a service from North Hill Homecare or their relative. Comments included; 'They go the extra mile. It is not just a job, they really care', 'Nothing is too much trouble', 'I can sum it up in one sentence, they are 100% efficient and reliable' and, 'The carers never stop, they are always on the ball'.
The expert by experience reported; 'I have to say that I have felt very good doing this inspection as the majority of the comments were very positive'.
We saw care plans had been improved since our last inspection. Staff told us they were informative and useful.
There was evidence staff had received suitable recruitment checks. Supervisions and staff meetings were taking place regularly.
