Workforce wellbeing and enablement
The provider did not always care about and promote the wellbeing of their staff. Although, they supported and enabled staff to always deliver person-centred care.
Rotas were only being produced for a short period ahead, which staff told us had an effect on their wellbeing. Staff told us it was difficult to plan ahead without knowing when or where they were working. We discussed this with the registered manager who said they would look at increasing the forward planning of the rotas.
Staff told us supervisions were not always regular, although the registered manager had regular contact with staff through spot checks and working with them whilst supporting people. Staff were trained to deliver good quality care by the provider.
