Date of assessment: 11 August 2026 to 13 August 2026. At our last assessment in 2022, the service was rated Requires Improvement and found to be in breach of legal regulation in relation to good governance, and fit and proper persons employed. Improvements were found in this assessment, and the provider was no longer in breach of this regulation. At this assessment, the service has been rated Good.
Integral Focus Support and Care Services provides care to people living in their own home. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is to help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social provided. At the time of the assessment 7 people were receiving personal care.
We assessed the service against ‘right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. The service was meeting the principles of right support, right care, right culture.
People's needs were assessed before they began using the service so the provider knew they could meet their needs. Staff received an induction and training before starting work, so they knew what to do when they started working with people.
People were supported by staff who had received the appropriate recruitment checks, training, and support to carry out their roles effectively. Staff treated people with dignity and respect and encouraged them to maintain their independence wherever possible.
Staff were happy working at the service and said they were supported. They received on-going training and development opportunities through spot checks, supervisions and team meetings. They understood how to recognise potential signs of abuse and the need to obtain consent from people prior to providing care.
Systems to monitor the quality and safety of the service were in place. Staff reported having a positive relationship with the provider and felt communication was effective.
