During a routine inspection
People told us that they felt well informed and very involved in their treatment plan. One person told us 'I genuinely find the staff kind, helpful and good at what they do' and 'Staff always put clients' needs first and safety is paramount'. Another person told us 'I would be happy to recommend this service to a friend, in fact I have'.
The staff we talked to told us that they enjoy working at One40 and that they felt supported by their team members and by senior management. One staff member told us ' I love working here, we hold people until they can hold themselves' and 'I would recommend this service to a family member'.
We found that people were involved in their treatment plan and that their rights protected.
People experienced effective, safe and appropriate care, treatment and support that meets their needs and protected their rights.
There were systems in place that ensured the safe handling of medicines.
We found that appropriate pre-employment checks were in place before staff started working at One40.
There was effective systems in place to ensure the quality of the service delivered were routinely monitored. This meant that people benefited from quality care and treatment and support.
