During a routine inspection

At the time of our visit there were three people using the service. We spoke with one of them and the family member of another. They told us they were satisfied with the care and support provided and the care workers were caring and capable. The person who used the service said, 'I am very happy.' The family member said, 'They are fine. They take care of [name] well.' People said they felt safe and comfortable when the care workers were in their homes. They confirmed care and support were provided according to agreed plans and with the person's consent.

We found the service took steps to ensure people had agreed to their care, and their care was delivered according to personal assessments and plans. Arrangements had been made to protect vulnerable adults against the risk of abuse. The provider had effective recruitment processes and carried out the necessary checks before staff started work. The provider had systems to assess and monitor the quality of service provided.
