During a routine inspection
People's standard of health and welfare was maintained. The care records we reviewed provided staff with information to ensure that they delivered safe care and support to people using the service.
When reviewing medication administration records (MARs) we saw evidence of accurate documentation to ensure that people, who had chosen to be supported this way by the provider, were protected against risk of potential errors with prescribed medication.
In the staff files we reviewed we saw evidence of staff training and staff supervisions and appraisals. This indicated to us that people using the service received safe support and care from suitable, skilled, and knowledgeable staff.
The provider had a quality assurance system in place. This was because the provider had undertaken quality monitoring to assess the quality of the service provided by reviewing incidents and accidents and asking people for feedback on the service provided. This indicated to us that the provider had on-going systems in place to ensure that people received on-going safe care and support.
