5-6 Prior's Court Cottages: Bradbury House

5-6 Prior's Court Cottages: Bradbury House is a care home registered to provide accommodation for younger adults with a learning disability and autistic people. We completed our assessment on 15 February 2024. The provider had a planned approach for each person which focussed on their care needs and quality of life. Staff ensured care and support was person centred and delivered to people at the right level and intensity for them. Staff and managers spoke with sincerity, pride and passion about the multi-disciplinary and holistic approach to supporting each person in achieving positive outcomes. The provider followed the Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture guidance.

People were cared for in a safe environment and safeguarded from abuse. The provider took appropriate actions to minimise risks. People were supported to access the appropriate health professionals in accordance with their needs. People were supported with their preferred routines on an individualised basis. Families were confident the provider responded appropriately to concerns and they were able to contact the provider anytime they needed to. Families spoke positively of the care and support delivered to people. Comments from people’s relatives included, “Overall, the staff really know the residents as people and that shines through. Nothing is too much trouble”, “[Person’s] safety is of primary concern at Prior's Court” and “I’m very happy with the care and support [person] is getting at Bradbury.”
