Our view of the service

We inspected Crossley Place on the 3 and 4 December 2025. Crossley Place was previously inspected in April 2022 and was rated as good.

Crossley Place is registered to deliver the regulated activities: treatment of disease, disorder or injury; and assessment or medical treatment for persons detained under the Mental Health Act 1983. The service had a Registered Manager at the time of our inspection.

We visited both wards as part of the inspection: Meadow ward – 4 beds for women and Orchard ward – 6 beds for women.

At this inspection we inspected the service’s assessment service group of long stay or rehabilitation mental health wards for working age adults.

We rated the service as good.
