Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care
Mr Brett Roy Bernard is responsible for these services.
Ms Elaine Christine Banks is the registered manager for these services at this location.
Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
Within 28 days of this condition taking effect, the Registered Provider must implement an effective system to ensure that:
a) There is clinical oversight of service users’ nursing needs, including the availability of Registered Nurses as required, ensuring continuity of care.
b) There are clear guidelines and protocols in place for the delegation of nursing tasks to suitably trained and skilled staff members.
Within 28 days of this condition taking effect, the Registered Provider must conduct audits, to be completed on a monthly basis, in relation to (but not limited to) the following:
a) Staffing dependency levels to ensure that you have the numbers of suitably qualified staff deployed to meet service users’ needs.
b) Monitoring of service users’ weight loss and the actions taken to mitigate the risk.
c) Medicine management and administration.
d) Monitoring and management of service users’ wound care.
e) Monitoring of person-centred care in line with service user’s needs, preferences and choices.
Within 28 days of this condition taking effect, the Registered Provider must submit a report detailing what action has been taken to comply with the above condition. On the first Monday of every month thereafter, the Registered Provider must send to the Care Quality Commission a report outlining the outcomes of their monthly audits. This report must summarise audit findings, the improvement actions to be taken, who is responsible for these and timescales for completion.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must only accommodate a maximum of 64 service users at Delves Court Care Home.
