Our view of the service

Pall Mall Medical Diagnostic Treatment Centre is located at 1 Belvedere Rd, Newton-le-Willows WA12 0JJ. The clinic operates out of a commercial property which had been converted to provide clinical services. Pall Mall Medical offers a range of private medical services to fee paying patients. They provide a wide range of procedures, including private scans, cosmetic surgery procedures such as breast enlargement, abdominoplasty and rhinoplasty. The service provides elective day case cosmetic surgery and the option of overnight stays with nursing care for those who chose this. 

The service is registered with CQC to undertake the following regulated activities:

• Treatment of disease, disorder or injury
• Diagnostic and screening procedures
• Surgical procedures
• Family Planning

We carried out an unannounced inspection of surgery on 2 and 3 December 2024. 

The service had last been inspected following the CQC’s previous next phase independent healthcare inspection methodology, in 2021, but had not received a rating. For this inspection we rated the service based on the priorities in the new methodology as requires improvement overall.
