Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care

Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

Within 14 days of this condition taking effect, the Registered Provider must conduct audits, to be completed on a monthly basis, in relation to (but not limited to) the following:
a) Medicine management and administration.
b) Monitoring and management of service users’ weight loss.
c) Safety and suitability of the premises and equipment.
d) Service users’ care plans and risk assessments.
e) Monitoring, analysis and learning from incidents and accidents involving service users.
f) Fire safety management.

Within 14 days of this condition taking effect, the Registered Provider must submit a report detailing what action has been taken to comply with the above condition. On the first Monday of every month thereafter, the Registered Provider must send to the Care Quality Commission a report outlining the outcomes of their monthly audits. This report must summarise audit findings, the improvement actions to be taken, who is responsible for these and timescales for completion.

Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The registered provider must only accommodate a maximum of 24 service users at Highview Home.

The registered provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at Highview Home.
