Lymington Urgent Treatment Centre

Lymington Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) is a GP led service that assesses and treats patients who arrive with minor injuries or illnesses and/or refers them to more appropriate services. This announced assessment was undertaken between 23 and 27 November 2023. We carried out an on-site assessment on 27 November 2023. We assessed 5 quality statements under the key questions of Safe, Effective, Responsive and Well-led.

Patients were positive about their care and treatment. The service had systems to request feedback routinely from all patients who attended the service. This Information and any complaints were used to improve practice and procedures. The service had also taken steps to seek suggestions from vulnerable patient groups to make improvements to the service.
