During an assessment under our new approach
The assessment was completed between 15 February 2026 and 20 March 2026. This was the first assessment of the service and was completed due to the length of time the service had been registered.
People generally experienced warm, person centred care from staff who knew them well and supported them with kindness and respect. Care plans were detailed and reflected people’s individual needs, preferences and routines, helping staff understand what mattered most to each person. People were supported to stay connected to their community through activities such as partnerships with local schools and seasonal events like Halloween celebrations. Relatives said they felt listened to and involved, and feedback was used to help shape improvements in the service. Staff told us they felt well supported by the leadership team, describing managers as approachable, knowledgeable and committed to providing high quality care. Strong governance processes, including daily oversight and regular audits, helped ensure care was responsive, coordinated and safely delivered. Overall, the home provided a caring, supportive environment where people benefitted- from positive interactions, meaningful activities and staff who took time to understand and value them.
