During a routine inspection
We observed the three vehicles that were in use at the time of our inspection, two full size emergency ambulances and an ambulance car. Each vehicle was observed to be generally clean. Staff had access to the equipment they needed to be able to safely treat patients. There were systems in place to check and service any equipment that required this.
Not all of the appropriate pre-employments checks had been carried out on the staff employed. Systems were being developed to fully support staff however these were not in use at the time of our inspection. We could not be assured that staff were fully supported in relation to their duties because there were no records available to view relating to supervision and induction.
