During a routine inspection
Everyone told us that the care provided by the agency was personalised and that the principles of privacy, dignity and independence were promoted and respected. For example, one person said, "They provide a really excellent service. They go out of their way to treat people as individuals. X (referring to their family member) seems really happy with them". Another person said, "If I was to die tomorrow I would rest in peace knowing the support given to X (family member). Their quality of life has never been better".
Everyone also felt that staff were well trained and understood their needs. Care workers also felt they were fully supported to undertake their roles and responsibilities. For example, one said, "I love working here, they (referring to the management team) really do care".
People told us that they felt safe with the service provided by the agency and if they had concerns they would speak with members of the management team. One person told us, "I get anxious and worry a lot at times. I know I can phone them. I think one of the main points is that I can trust my carers".
The evidence we gathered during our inspection supported the comments made by people.
