During a routine inspection
People received their care and treatment in an environment that was clean and safe. The provider had taken steps to ensure the environment was suitably designed, secure and well maintained.
People were supported by trained and qualified staff that had been screened to ensure they were suitable to work with vulnerable people and trained for their job. Staff maintained their own knowledge and their professional registration.
The provider had effective quality assurance system in place to monitor and manage the quality of service provided. People had opportunities to make a comments or a complaint about the service, which was acted on. A system of audits, reviews and monitoring in place ensured the overall service provision protected the health, safety and wellbeing of people using the service and others.
