At our last assessment we rated this key question good. At this assessment the rating has remained good. This meant people’s outcomes were consistently good, and people’s feedback confirmed this.

The provider planned and delivered people’s care and treatment with them, including what was important and mattered to them. They did this in line with legislation and current evidence-based good practice and standards.

Food and fluids were fresh and plentiful. Good kitchen hygiene was in place and a new white board had been purchased to support kitchen staff with a record of people’s dietary needs.

We received comments from people indicating some meals were bland and could be better. The management team were reviewing these comments and taking action, which included having the Chef attend all ‘resident’ meetings to gain feedback and undertaking a mealtime experience survey to gather views.
