During a routine inspection

We spoke with two people who used the service and they told us they were asked for written consent prior to receiving treatment. They also told us they were given choices and the treatment options were explained to them by staff. One person we spoke with told us, "The Doctor has explained everything to me." People said they were happy with the service and the care and treatment provided. One person said, "The staff are nice and friendly." We found that people were involved in decisions about their care and had their privacy and dignity respected.

Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that ensured people's safety and welfare.

People were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment. One person told us, 'The environment is lovely and clean.' Equipment was available to meet people's care needs and this was maintained as required.

We saw there was a complaints procedure in place and complaints were fully investigated.
