During a routine inspection
We found that information leaflets were given to patients before and after treatment. Care was assessed and planned to meet individual preferences. Consent was obtained and time was given for people to think about the procedure before a date and time of surgery was agreed. Records were maintained of care and information given. Other records such as discharge letters, blood test results were also maintained and actioned appropriately.
We found that staff had up to date training. There was a team of experienced staff which included a doctor a nurse and administration staff to assist with the minor surgeries.
