During a routine inspection
All the people we spoke with were very happy with the service. One person told us 'The staff here are great, very friendly' Another person said 'It's really easy to get an appointment here at a time that suits me.' A third person told us 'The dentist understands my needs and puts me at ease.'
People told us that they felt respected by staff, and were able to take part in decisions about their treatment. One person told us 'My dentist listens to what I say. They give me advice to take care of my teeth, so that I won't have too many problems in the future.'
People told us that their treatment plans were discussed with them. Medical histories were reviewed before treatment was given. The practice had suitable arrangements in place to deal with emergencies.
The people we spoke with told us they felt safe with the staff.
We saw that rooms were clean, and well maintained. People we spoke with were happy with the standard of cleanliness in the practice.
We saw that records of staff qualifications, criminal record checks and professional registrations were up to date.
All the people we spoke with were happy with the service, and had never felt the need to make a complaint. We saw that complaints had been investigated fully and a response sent to the people who had made the complaint.
