We carried out this announced off-site inspection on 19 December 2025.

Where we carry out an offsite assessment, we undertake a detailed review of the practice risk assessments, policies, staff records, and other relevant documents. We gather feedback from patients, staff, and stakeholders (where relevant). We carry out a remote visual assessment of the premises and have discussions with staff.

We found the practice had met regulations.

The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.

Staff had the skills, knowledge, and experience to carry out their roles.

Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation. There was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.

Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.

People's experience of the service

Updated 12 November 2025

Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to share patient feedback they gather as part of their systems for obtaining patient views of the service. On the day of our inspection, we reviewed patient feedback from a from several sources, including direct feedback following appointments, NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT), and on-line feedback.

Patient feedback provided a consistently positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Patients commented positively about the standard of treatment they received. They said that staff were professional and friendly.

Patients felt reassured and calm during treatments and were given clear information about their treatment. Some patients commented on how understanding and caring the dental team were when treating children.

Patients commented that they were able to get an appointment promptly when needed.

The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
