Updated 8 February 2026
Date of assessment: 16 February to 27 February 2026. This service is a domiciliary care service providing personal care for people living in their own homes in the community. They provide support to people with a range of different needs including older people, people with dementia and people with physical disabilities. At the time of the assessment 8 people were using the service who received the regulated activity of personal care. Not everyone who uses a domiciliary service receives personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This assessment was undertaken due to the age of the rating. At this assessment, the service was rated good.
The service was operating safely. People were involved in their care and support planning. Staff were recruited safely and their practice was regularly monitored. Staff received appropriate induction and training to support them to do their job well.
People’s needs were assessed at the commencement of care and regularly reviewed thereafter. Where people required changes to their care and support to keep up with their changing needs, the service was responsive to this.
The service worked well with health and social care partners and followed their recommendations. Information was shared appropriately and referrals for support were made as and when required.
The service was well-led. Managers were available to support people, their relatives and staff at all times. Managers proactively sought feedback from people and their relatives to ensure care was always delivered in line with people’s preferences. Managers undertook regular governance checks to maintain quality.
