During a routine inspection
The care plans were person centred and focused on opportunities to increase the service users independence whilst monitoring and reducing risk. The person who used the service told us 'I want to get my risk lowered so I can live in a less supported placement.'
Staff were trained on and able to discuss the signs of abuse and what to do in the event of witnessing abuse.
Staff felt supported and trained appropriately to do their jobs. Staff appeared to enjoy their jobs and were very enthusiastic about their roles. One member of staff told us 'I love my job, I love the challenge.' Another told us "I am able to transfer my skills, working with both adults and children.'
