Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion.

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate. The feedback we reviewed from various sources showed consistently high standards of patient satisfaction with the service provided and the standard of treatment they received. Where there was any complaint from patients, the practice responded positively and moved quickly to address any concerns raised. We particularly noted that any complaint or negative feedback was treated as a significant event. When the significant event process was followed to its conclusion, findings were shared with all staff and learning points recorded and discussed with the team.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
