The service always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.
National GP Patient Survey data collected between January and March 2026 showed patient satisfaction was similar to national averages when respondents were asked questions relating to kindness, compassion and dignity. The percentage of respondents who answered positively were as follows: 81% said the healthcare professional at their last appointment was very good or fairly good at listening to them (national average was 87%); 88% said the healthcare professional at their last appointment was very good or fairly good at treating them with care and concern (national average was 86%); 93% said they had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to (national average was 92%); and 76% responded positively to the overall experience of their GP practice (national average was 77%).
