Kindness, compassion and dignity

Score: 3

Patients feedback demonstrated staff treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity.

The 2025 National GP Patient Survey showed that 91% of patients felt the healthcare professional at their last appointment treated them with care and concern, compared with a local average of 81% and a national average of 86%. Additionally, 95% of respondents reported staff listened to them and they had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they spoke to, which were above both the local and national averages.

The Friends and Family survey (FFT) from 1 January to 31 March 2026 had 22 responses all were either likely or extremely likely to recommend the practice. Patient comments made were ‘all staff pleasant and helpful’, ‘doctors are very thorough’ and ‘I have confidence in them’.

We spoke with patients during the site visit and with a member of the patient participation group who provided positive feedback
