Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care

Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The Registered Provider must, within 14 days of this condition taking effect, conduct audits, to be completed on a monthly basis, in relation to the following:
a) Safe management and administration of service users’ PRN and topical
medicines, to ensure they are administered as prescribed
b) Prevention and management of service users’ skin damage and pressure
sores to minimise associated risks to service users
c) Information and guidance for staff on monitoring and managing service
users’ episodes of distress or agitation
d) Assessment and mitigation of risks associated with service users’ known
individual health needs

On the first Monday of every month thereafter, the Registered Provider must send to the Care Quality Commission a report outlining the outcomes of their monthly audits. This report must summarise audit findings, the improvement actions to be taken, who is responsible for these and timescales for completion.

Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The registered provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require personal or nursing care at Amberley Care Home.

The registered provider must only accommodate a maximum of 25 service users at Amberley Care Home.
