All Inspections

During a routine inspection

We spoke with people who use the service and their relatives. They told us they felt staff treated them with dignity and respect and helped them maintain their independence. One person who used the service told us 'When (My relative) lived with us, she didn't have the same degree of freedom and there is a lot more freedom, and more independence in the where she lives now'.

People told us they were happy with the care they received and had been involved in planning and reviewing their care plan. One person told us, 'They put what I do in a file, a planner, with support plans. 'They ask me what I'm doing, and what I'd like to do. I have people to help with choices'.

People told us they felt safe receiving care and had never seen anything of concern. One person's relative said '(my relative) feels safe, if there's anything going wrong, he'll tell us.' Everyone felt they could raise a concern with the provider and it would be dealt with. People felt they had the opportunity to feedback their opinions of the service and could raise an issue. One person who used the service told us 'They do ask what I think, and it is okay.'
