During a routine inspection
Care records were up to date and provided a comprehensive assessment of people's needs and appropriate care planning. People's physical, emotional and social needs were addressed and care plans were developed in discussion with people who used the service.
People told us that staff had worked closely with them to help them address their alcohol use. People told us they had felt safe and supported by competent staff. They said they would feel confident in raising concerns if they had them. One person who used the service told us "I would not be here today if it wasn't for this place. I know it has saved my life."
