Our view of the service

Date of assessment: 28 April to 19 May 2026. Everyday Recruitment Agency Worthing (ERA) is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to people living in their own homes. CQC only inspects where people are receiving the regulated activity personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. At the time of this inspection, 45 people were receiving support with personal care.

 

People were supported by staff who knew them well. People’s care plans were person- centred to reflect their needs and wishes. Regular care reviews were undertaken, and relatives were involved in this process where appropriate. Staff spoke passionately about working for ERA and told us they enjoyed their jobs. Staff felt supported by the management team. There were enough staff to ensure people’s needs were met and people had continuity in care. Staff and the management team had good relationships with external health and social professionals and shared information appropriately. Leaders and staff had a shared vision and positive culture based on listening, learning and trust. Governance at the service was robust. Records were continually reviewed and updated. Staff practice was frequently observed, and this was used to drive improvement.

People's experience of this service

People spoke highly of the service and staff who supported them. People felt safe with staff in their homes and told us staff were respectful of them and their property. Relatives echoed this and said their loved ones were well cared for by staff who knew them well. People were helped to increase their independence. People were frequently supported by regular staff ensuring consistency of care and meaning they could get to know each other well. People shared comments such as, “It’s a good agency”, “They go over and above for me” and “My experience has been positive.” People told us they felt able to contact the office if they had any concerns and felt their views were taken seriously and acted upon quickly.
