Kindness, compassion and dignity

Score: 3

The service always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.

The service had arrangements to promote people’s privacy. The service performed better than both local and national averages in the results of the 2025 National GP Patient Survey. For example, 93% of respondents were involved as much as they wanted to be in decisions about their care and treatment during their last appointment. This is higher than the local average of 88% and national average of 91%. Eighty-two percent of respondents to the survey felt the healthcare professional was good at listening to them during their last appointment, which was in line with the local average and slightly below the national average of 87%.

Feedback to the CQC received through the Feedback on Care webform was positive, with service users speaking positively about the care provided by clinicians and administrative staff.
