Staff treated patients with kindness,respectand compassion.

Weobservedpositive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to patients.

During our visit we obtained the views of 9 patients.

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion.

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

All 9 patients told us they would recommend the surgery to a family member or friend.

All but one patient told us they knew how to get emergency dental treatment when the practice was closed.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
