During a routine inspection

People who used this service and their relatives were all pleased with the care and support they received from this service. They said, 'This is the best agency I have ever had and the girls are great'. Relatives told us, 'We especially requested the same team of carers as this was in [relative's] best interest. He has complete confidence in the girls that come to help him'.

We looked at the records held at the office for both the domiciliary care service and the supported living service. The care plans we looked at included detailed information about the individuals using the services, how they should be supported in their home and about the things which were important to them in their lives.

We reviewed the recruitment records of five staff for each of the services. We saw that they had been recruited using an effective procedure that included all of the appropriate checks to ensure that the person being employed was of good character.

People were given information about what to do if they needed to make a complaint and those we spoke to told us they would not hesitate to contact the manager if they needed to.
