The surgery treated people with kindness, empathy, compassion and in how they respected people’s privacy and dignity. For example, during clinical appointments and during telephone calls, the surgery performed above national averages in the results of the 2025 National GP Patient Survey. Staff always treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect. This was confirmed by the positive and complimentary comments made by the people we spoke with during the onsite assessment and with the local partner healthcare organisations.

The surgery had arrangements to promote people’s privacy. The surgery performed better than the national average in the results of the 2025 National GP Patient Survey. This showed people felt listened to and felt they were treated with kindness. For example, 91% of respondents to the survey felt the healthcare professional at their last appointment was good at treating them with care and concern, compared to a national average of 86%. This was mirrored in feedback from people we spoke with during our assessment who described staff as “truly caring”, “wonderful”, “staff listen to me more than any other NHS point of contact”, “they take care to always meet my needs”, and “I have nothing but praise for the staff.
