Caring

This service scored 75 (out of 100) for this area. Find out what we look at when we assess this area and How we calculate these scores.
Kindness, compassion and dignity
The service always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.
Results from the 2026 GP Patient Survey showed positive patient experiences and indicated that patients felt listened to and were treated with care. For example, 96% of respondents reported that the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to was good or very good at treating them with care and concern, compared with the national average of 86%. In addition, 94% of respondents said the healthcare professional was good or very good at listening to them, compared with the national average of 87%.
People we spoke with during our assessment provided positive feedback about the service and described staff as caring, respectful and approachable. This was consistent with feedback from the NHS Friends and Family Test, where many respondents commented that staff were friendly, approachable and helpful.
