This service scored 75 (out of 100) for this area. Find out what we look at when we assess this area and How we calculate these scores.
Kindness, compassion and dignity
The provider always treated patients with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.
The provider had arrangements to promote patient’s privacy. The provider performed better than national averages in the results of the 2025 National GP Patient Survey. This showed patients felt listened to and felt they were treated with kindness. For example, 87.6% of respondents to the survey felt the healthcare professional at their last appointment was good at treating them with care and concern, compared to a national average of 85.6%.
We received 24 comments from patients using the practice, which included predominantly very positive comments about the care they received. Comments included: ‘A really excellent service. Thorough, professional and understanding’, ‘The whole GP Practice is run very professionally and efficiently’, ‘I really felt listened to’.
The practice had a compliment board on display in a staff area. We noted letters and cards to the practice thanking staff for their care and support. The management team told us this was shared with all staff members to celebrate achievements and foster a positive culture.
