The Ribblesdale Medical Practice had a good learning culture and people could raise concerns. Managers investigated incidents thoroughly. People were protected and kept safe. Staff understood and managed risks. The facilities and equipment met the needs of people, were clean and well-maintained and any risks mitigated. There were enough staff with the right skills, qualifications and experience. Managers made sure staff received training and regular appraisals to maintain high-quality care.
We found the provider needed to take action to strengthen the management of some medicines and ensure codes used to identify possible diabetes were always responded to quickly.
We found the provider showed outstanding examples of promoting workforce well-being and ensuring the workforce shared and understood the vision of the leaders. There were also outstanding examples of outreach work and partnership working with local communities such as people who were homeless; people who are migrants and women going through the menopause.
