Kindness, compassion and dignity

Score: 3

The service always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.

Staff described a culture focused on treating patients with dignity and respect. Leaders reported promoting respectful and compassionate care, and equality and diversity training was provided. Systems were in place to protect confidentiality, including staff confidentiality agreements, GDPR training, and expectations regarding patient information handling.
