Our view of the service
Date of Assessment: 13 October 2025 to 31 October 2025 to. Dr AM Deshpande Dr P Gurjar Practice (also known as Neera Medical Centre) is a GP practice and delivers services to 4492 people under a contract held with NHS England. The National General Practice Profiles states that 90.21% of people registered are White, 2.74% Asian, 2.12% Mixed, 4.26% Black and 0.67% Other.
Information published by Office for Health Improvement and Disparities shows that deprivation within the practice population group is in the 7th decile, (7 of 10). The lower the decile, the more deprived the practice population is relative to others. People's experience of this service
People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. For example, the percentage of respondents to the National GP Patient Survey (2025), who stated that during their last appointment they had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to was 95% and the percentage of respondents in the same National GP Patient Survey (2025), who responded positively to the overall experience of contacting their GP practice was 81%.
