Kindness, compassion and dignity

Score: 3

The service consistently treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion, and staff always respected people’s privacy and dignity. Staff also demonstrated respectful and professional interactions with colleagues from other organisations. The service had effective arrangements in place to promote people’s privacy.
Results from the 2025 National GP Patient Survey showed the service performed better than the national average, with people reporting they felt listened to and treated with kindness. In the survey 95% of respondents said the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to was good at treating them with care and concern during their last general practice appointment, compared with 88% across the Integrated Care System and 86% nationally.
Feedback from members of the Patient Participation Group was overwhelmingly positive; they spoke highly of staff, describing them as respectful, friendly and supportive.
