During an inspection in response to concerns

AM Medical Services (UK) Ltd had recently changed owners. The new providers had taken over the company a few months prior to our inspection. Concerns had been raised with us about the lack of cleaning in the ambulances. Concerns had also been raised about the maintenance of the vehicles and equipment and also about staff driving emergency vehicles.

We found evidence that the ambulances were cleaned appropriately. We also saw that the vehicles were maintained and checked before each shift.
