During a routine inspection
People said they were very happy with the quality of care and dental treatment offered by the dental practice. People said they were fully involved in decisions about their treatments and felt they got good clear explanations. They said they felt safe. Other comments included:
'Made to feel very much at ease here'
'Very good at explaining everything'
'Gave me lots of helpful information'
'I was delighted with every part of the procedure and especially the wonderful results'
'This is a great Dentist.'
We saw staff treated people with respect and were friendly, polite and courteous. We spoke with three members of staff, this included, the Dentist, the Practice Manager and a Dental Nurse who were all able to explain and give examples of how they respected people's dignity, privacy and confidentiality.
Staff working in the practice said they were aware of what action they should take if they suspected any abuse or a patient made an allegation of abuse.
People were cared for, or supported by, suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff.
There were effective systems in place to make sure the practice was working safely and that they considered the opinions and suggestions of people who used the service.
