During a routine inspection

We spoke with one person who used the service and to one relative. They told us they were happy with the care and support provided. A relative said " Its brilliant, my relative has a good life, they are excellent". We observed that staff interacted with people who used the service in a positive and respectful way. Staff knew how to communicate with each individual and in the most effective way.

Care and support records were comprehensive. Detailed information was recorded about the way people preferred to receive care and support. Risk assessments and management plans were in place.

Staff had received the training they required to do their jobs and meet people's individual needs. Staff felt supported by their managers.

There was effective assessment and monitoring of the quality of service provision. The provider carried out monthly audits and regularly spoke with people who used the service and their relatives.
