During a routine inspection

People had care records which recorded how they wanted to be supported. Staff had a good knowledge of people's care and people told us the staff were respectful to them when providing this support. One person said, 'I can talk to them about anything. They always try and help and you can drop by whenever you want to talk.'

Staff received training and support to enable them to meet people's needs. People told us they were happy with the support provided and they felt safe. One person told us, 'They've helped me 100 per cent. I don't think I'd be alive without their help'.

People were protected from the risks of abuse because the staff had received the necessary training to identify and report safety concerns.

The provider had an effective system in place to regularly assess and monitor the service. The system focussed on service improvement and sought the views of people using the service.
